Qantas vs 'Olympic' Livery

In 2016 Qantas painted VH-OEJ, a Qantas Boeing 747-400, from its standard livery to a special 'Olympic' Livery. The 'Olympic' Livery signifies Qantas' partnership with the Australian Olympic Team competing in the Rio 2016 Olympics. On the Left Hand Side of the comparison is Qantas' standard livery, and on the Right Hand Side is the 'Olympic' livery.

Changes Between these Liveries:
  • Green and gold ribbons wrapping along the fuselage.
  • Boxing Kangaroo on the foward cabin, with the standard 'Qantas' writing moved along the fuselage to accomodate this.
  • The kangaroo on the tail features a gold medal and Australian Flag.
  • 'Spirit of Australia' is replaced by 'Spirit of the Australian Team' in silver instead of black.
