In 2012 Chile's LAN Airlines merged with Brazil's TAM Airlines to form LATAM Airlines Group. On the Left Hand Side of the comparison is the LAN Airlines Livery, and on the Right Hand Side is the LATAM Airlines Group Livery, both on the first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of LAN Airlines CC-BGA.

• Larger LAN writing is replaced by LATAM above the window line.
• LATAM Logo on the underside of the forward cabin.
• LAN's sweeping blue tail is replaced by LATAM's tail.
• The aircraft registation is moved higher and appears smaller on the tail.
• The OneWorld logo disappears behind the second emergency exit from the front.
