In 2017 China Eastern repainted B-5943, an Airbus A330-200, from its old livery to a special Eastday.com Livery. On the Left Hand Side of the comparison is China Eastern's old livery (prior to 2014), and on the Right Hand Side is China Eastern's new livery (after 2014) in a special colourful livery for Eastday.com.

• Colourful wave comprised of blue, purple, yellow and red along the fuselage.
• China Eastern writing moved towards to nose of the aircraft.
• The circular China Eastern logo's on the tail and wingtips are replaced by their larger format equivalent, as on all aircraft in China Eastern's new livery.
• A new antenna dome is fitted above the rear cabin.
