Wings Over Illawarra 2010 was a great show, with plenty of historic aircraft, in both static and flying displays. The weather was overcast for most of the day, with a brief shower in the early afternoon, however I really enjoyed myself, shooting over 500 images, meeting some of the Schofields Members, and enjoying full access to all the aircraft. Well done HARS and the Albion Park Airport management.

V530TA-D35 (SP) propeller and the starter, undercarriage and brakes are all air operated (Pilot David Lian).
On display this year were the USAF C-5 Galaxy, B-1 Lancer, C-17 Globemaster along with V Australia B777-300ER, HARS Constellation and the Gulfstream trio, the G550, G200 and G150.
Bankstown has a wide range of helicopter operations, from training to charter, and also the base for the NSW Air Ambulance Service. In the summer fire season it is common to see a number of Erickson Air-Cranes.
The Richmond RAAF Flying Club invited Schofields Flying Club members to attend, so I thought I would have a look at the action. There were some interesting airraft on the flight line and a number of excellent aerobatic performances.
Apart from being a busy commercial airport, Miami has a very busy air cargo operation with many different carriers. Nice to see the DC-10 and DC-8 still playing a major role.
